DATE: Antique, c.1900

A high quality example of the antique snake ring, dating from the turn of the century, circa 1900. It wraps around your finger three whole times! - With the head and tail meeting in the centre of the coiled band. The head is set with an old mine cut diamond "brain", with crosshatched engraving to create the snakeskin effect. It features a French make for 18k gold (eagles head), and it remains in lovely antique condition.
