DATE: Victorian, c.1900
A cute lucky charm featuring a finely enamelled lucky piggy with a four leaf clover in it's mouth. French made, it's crafted in silver, and dates from the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Antique jewellery often features meaningful symbols, and in this case the pig symbolizes abundance, fertility, and good luck while the four leaf clover... well, we all know that one.
