DATE: Vintage, c.1960

This elegant pearl necklace by Cartier features seventy-six dreamy cultured pearls and a sapphire and diamond cluster clap. With a wearable length of 25 inches, the pearls (7.5mm) retain an excellent lustre and are completed perfectly with the gem-set clasp. Set with a halo of alternating sapphire and diamonds and fine ropework detailing, a gorgeous pearl rests in the centre of the box clasp. With French marks for 18k white gold, it's signed Cartier and remains in excellent condition. Dates to the 1960's.
