DATE: Vintage, 1960s

Striking vintage cocktail ring set with a rectangular emerald cabochon that's beautifully carved with a central flower and foliate backdrop. The emerald is bordered by a halo of icy brilliant cut diamonds in bezel/claw hybrid mounts with open gallery, the mound crafted in 18k gold throughout, mostly white gold with yellow gold prongs securing the emerald. French control marks to the outer band.
