Victorian Garnet & Enamel Octagon Pendant
DATE: Victorian, c.1880
A stunning Victorian pendant in original fitted presentation box. The main stone is a gorgeous deep crimson garnet, surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds within an octagonal band of white enamel. Around the outside of the frame are set eight natural pearls, and is exceptional piece is topped with a rose cut diamond bow. A wonderful piece in remarkably good condition, there are also fittings for wear as a brooch (and the bail can be removed).
