Description

DATE: Victorian, c.1870

A gorgeous micromosaic brooch, the scene depicted is of a lady handing a bunch of flowers to a little boy. The craftsmanship is exquisite, it's hard to even imagine how many hours went into the making of it. Mounted in 9 karat gold, with chain at the top for wear as a pendant, and a mother of pearl back. It's Italian in origin, and dates from the 1870s.
