Victorian Emerald Horseshoe Ring

Ever so cute Victorian Horseshoe ring set with emeralds. Modelled in 15k gold and dating to c.1900. Horseshoes have long been considered lucky, but the orientation (n or u) is up for debate... It comes down to the density of Luck. If Luck is denser than air the horseshoe should have the ends pointing up (like a cup). But if luck is less dense than air it would rise out, so the horseshoe should be the other way round (like an 'n'). Personally, I like the idea that Luck rises up...
