Victorian Diamond Arrow Brooch
DATE: Victorian, c.1880
This cool antique arrow brooch is set with a superb .65ct old mine cut diamond at the centre. The feathers feature fine hand-chased detailing, and the piece is modelled in 15k gold throughout. In the Victorian era, the arrow was a symbol of love (Cupid’s Arrow) – and when paired with a diamond, it would represent enduring love, as the diamond’s endurance was second to nothing. Offered in the original tooled leather presentation box.
Old mine / miner cut Diamond: 0.65 carat, H/I colour, VS clarity
