DATE: Georgian, c.1740
An outstanding antique cluster ring, dating from the Georgian period, circa 1740. It's set with a wonderful collection of stones, the main event a foil backed table cut diamond. It surrounded by a cluster of sparkly rose cuts, and the back of the head features an usual wave-like motif, while the band is worked into a beautiful rococo design. It's crafted from 15k gold while the diamonds are set in silver to enhance their colour. Remains in great antique condition.
