DATE: Georgian, c.1790

A charming Georgian emerald and pearl cluster ring with a secret... the back of the head features a locket compartment, to hold a keepsake discretely against the finger. The head, a flower cluster is set with emeralds and pearls with bifurcated shoulders. The wonderfully ornate band is engraved with floral and scroll motifs and is crafted in 15 karat gold throughout and dating from circa, 1790.
