DATE: Georgian, c.1790
An especially beautiful Georgian flower cluster ring dating from the late 18th century, circa 1790. It's set with a foil-backed flat cut garnet in the centre of four rose cut diamond petals. The shoulders are crafted in the rococo style, with deeply engraved, flowing foliate motifs, and there's a concealed locket compartment behind the head. It's crafted in 15 karat gold and has survived in great shape.
