Georgian 1.5ct OMC Diamond Cluster Ring
DATE: Georgian, c.1830
This stunning antique cluster ring dates to the late Georgian period. It's set with a carat and a half of bright old mine cut diamonds (8x .12ct stones surrounding a central .55ct stone). The diamonds remain in their original silver settings - very typical of the era - and have had the backs opened at some point in their life, allowing light in and further enhancing their sparkle. A beautiful piece, modelled in 18k yellow gold and dating to c.1830 - it would make an excellent antique engagement ring.
