DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
Unusual - and really quite striking - antique openwork bombé ring formed from looping strands of gold wire arranged around a central scallop-set old mine cut diamond. It's French, naturally, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold with platinum accents and handmade during the early 20th century, circa 1910. With a further array of 8 transitional cut diamonds giving a total diamond weight of 0.77ct.
