DATE: Edwardian, 1918
A superb antique crucifix pendant in 9 karat gold. It dates from 1918 - as per the Birmingham hallmarks to the reverse - and features the inscription INRI which represents the Latin inscription: IESVS NAZARENVS REX IVDÆORVM, or "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews" (John 19:19).
