Edwardian Aquamarine Marquise Halo Ring
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
An astonishing Edwardian era marquise cluster ring, set with a central aquamarine framed by a double halo of diamonds and rubies. The quality is phenomenal, with wonderful pierced floral designs to the gallery, and three old cut diamond accents to each shoulder. It’s modelled in 18k gold with millegrain platinum mounts; the principal stone weighs in at a whopping 7.82 carats and has a dreamy pale blue hue. The ring is of English origin, but was retailed in France (likely Paris) so features the French Owl import mark to the outer shank.
