Edwardian .65ct Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring
Edwardian .65ct Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring
$950.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1915
A superb Edwardian diamond trilogy ring dating from the early 20th Century. Each stone rests in a platinum millegrain setting; the cool tone of the platinum accentuating the colour of the diamonds, and creating a gorgeous contrast with the 18k yellow gold band. this ring will have been conceived as an engagement ring, the central stone to represent the present, and the flanking ones the past and future respectively... it's kind of unusual (but very fitting) that each of the stones is a different cut: a transitional cut centre, an old European cut on the left, and a brilliant cut on the right.
