Edwardian 5.89ct Burma Ruby Engagement Ring
$14,500.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
A stunning Edwardian era cluster ring set with a 5.89 carat Burma ruby. The principal stone is nothing short of spectacular, fully certified as natural with no heat treatment, and set to appear floating within a halo of diamonds with a larger accent at each compass point. Modelled in platinum and 18k white gold, it dates from c.1910, with a pierced gallery and further diamond shoulder accents. French hallmarks indicate that it was likely made and retailed in Paris, which is reflected in by the quality of both the stone and the mount itself.
