DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

Enchanting antique cluster ring set with a natural Thai ruby (certified no heat, 3.1ct) with the most exceptional pigeon blood red colour and excellent transparency. The mixed faceted cut perfectly showcases the stone's natural brilliance, as well as its vivid depth of colour. It's collet set in 18 karat yellow gold, framed by glistening icy-white old cut diamonds (set in platinum) and two larger diamond shoulder accents. Perfectly proportioned, it would make the most wonderful ruby cluster engagement ring, or a particularly special dress/cocktail ring.
