Early Victorian Dark Blue Spinel & Diamond Ring

This superb antique ring dates to the early Victorian period, c.1840. The main stone is a gorgeous dark blue spinel - a particularly rare and desirable stone - held in a claw mount. The foliate shoulders are set with white diamonds, modelled in 18k gold, an elegant ring with silver settings on the shoulders.
