DATE: Art Deco, c.1930

Classic solitaire ring from the Art Deco period, circa 1930. It's set with a gorgeous natural aquamarine, 4 carats in weight, and displaying excellent intense pale blue colour with no hint of the seawatery green that was desirable during the preceding Victorian era. It's an emerald cut with truncated shoulders secured by four claws, and an open gallery allowing light to brighten the stone from the back and sides. Crafted in 18 karat white gold.
