1870s Offset Micromosaic "Dove of Peace" Ring

This beautiful antique ring dates to the mid-Victorian era, c.1870. It's likely of French origin, and features an adorable micromosaic panel depicting a dove and flowers - on a powder blue background. Unusually, the micromosaic includes silver inlay on the wings and tail. The head is offset from the delicate double band, the shape is somewhat reminiscent of a crown, finished with fine Etruscan style rope and flower goldwork.
