DATE: Georgian Regency, c.1815

A highly ornate Georgian seal fob pendant dating from the Regency period, circa 1815. It's embellished with various applied goldwork: cannetille, rope swirls, gradutated beads, wire-work petals around the turquoise cabochon - basically the full Regency get up. The base is set with a cushion shaped (uncarved, get in touch to discuss intaglio options) chalcedony panel, and the body displays gorgeous textured gold background. Crafted in 15 karat gold throughout.
