DATE: Georgian, c.1820

An exquisite Georgian fob with hand-carved intaglio seal depicting a dove with olive branch above the word PEACE in gothic script. The body of the fob is wonderfully ornate, crafted in 15 karat gold with scrolled and foliate motifs as well as an elaborate hand-chased border around the base.
